These topics are linked because widespread use of firewood for cooking and heating leads to emissions and reduces the number of trees when we should be practicing reforestation. Some of the websites below give good examples of projects like green charcoal and Invenyeri which provide economic incentive to the natives to help in producing more efficient fuel and using cleaner cook stoves. Solar cooking is a long term answer for many of the cooking needs but this will have to be introduced through large scale installations in schools and institutions before it will be adopted by individual households. This initiative will continually update the progress of different projects, provide a clearing house for organizations to share information and focus on locating funding sources to get the projects initiated.

Small organizations like the Danish Company access2inovation.com and gofundme are making small steps forward in this area but there needs to be a breakthrough with major global polluters like Exxonmobil and Power Companies to commit large grants for these projects globally in exchange for Carbon Credits. Waiting on politicians and governments to do something is a waste of time. Getting millions of people globally to start applying pressure through boycotts, shutdowns and demonstrations will hopefully get these Leviathans moving. If one Swedish school girl can shut down schools around the world anything is possible.
